Pioneer Strategies adopts Strike for Survival as 2007 Pro Bono Client
We have adopted Strike for Survival, a non-profit organization that sponsors annual bowling fundraisers to benefit the American Cancer Society, as our pro bono client for the summer and fall of 2007. Given recent events in my life, this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart.
An All-Too-Real Reminder on the Importance of Maintaining Perspective
Nearly two months ago I wrote an entry on the importance of maintaining perspective. In the opening paragraph of that entry, I said “It is often all too easy to get so caught up in business — in the “rat race” — that we forget what is truly important. I just found out this morning that my family is facing the kind of situation that puts it all back into perspective: a loved one was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.”
