Si Cantwell of The Wilmington Star News posted this item on his blog today:   LeBron James calls the shots at ESPN.

In the post Cantwell quotes Eric Deggans, a media critic at the St. Petersburg Times, as saying that the manner in which LeBron James announced his decision to leave Cleveland and play for the Miami Heat “heralds the next step in a growing problem for modern journalism.”

Cantwell’s post is worth a read for anyone who deals with the media on a frequent basis.
