Pioneer Strategies’ founder speaks to Leland Area Rotary Club on “Building Your Brand”

Frank Williams, president and founder of Brunswick County-based Pioneer Strategies, Inc., was the featured speaker at the Leland Area Rotary Club meeting on January 17, 2013.  Williams, who is also past president of the Leland Area Rotary Club, discussed “Building Your Brand” and described practical ways attendees could apply marketing principles to their small business, career or civic involvement.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our nation’s economy, and I want to see our local small business community grow and prosper,” said Williams.  “During our eleven years in business, I have observed that many small business owners want to do a better job of promoting their businesses, but they either lack the time or the marketing expertise to do so.  My goal for this speech was to provide attendees with practical strategies they can use to spread the word about their small businesses or advance their career.”

The Leland Area Rotary Club was chartered in early 2010 and serves northern Brunswick County, N.C. Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community’s business and professional men and women.
