Pioneer Strategies team members join NCPRSA Board, Committees
Three Pioneer Strategies team members have assumed board or committee roles with the N.C. Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA), strengthening the organization’s presence in southeastern North Carolina.
Frank Williams, the company’s founder and president, joined the NCPRSA board of directors as vice president and membership chair. Account Executive Zach Drennan and Account Coordinator Emma Ericksen are both serving on the NCPRSA Communications Committee, while Ericksen is also assisting with the membership committee. Drennan is serving as graphics manager and focuses on developing graphics for NCPRSA social media and newsletters. Ericksen serves the communication committee as social media manager and assists both the communication and membership committees with email list management.
“I’m a firm believer in the value of involvement in professional associations like PRSA,” said Williams. “By serving NCPRSA in these capacities, our team does its part to strengthen our profession while also enhancing our skills and growing our professional networks.” The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community. PRSA is the principal advocate for industry excellence and ethical conduct and provides members lifelong learning opportunities and leading-edge resources to enhance professional connections and support them at every stage of their career. With nearly 30,000 members, PRSA is collectively represented in all 50 states by more than 110 Chapters and 14 Professional Interest Sections, and on nearly 375 college and university campuses through its student organization, the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
